“We are feeling extremely fortunate to both be able to work from home during this uncertain time, although teaching third grade has certainly taken an extreme turn into digital/distance learning (ready for it or not). The kids’ daycare has limited class sizes to 6, but we’d rather have them safe at home anyway. Schedules may go out the window on most days but we try and keep them busy with art projects, dance parties, lots of time outdoors, and of course plenty of snacks! Too young to really understand the magnitude of things, both kiddos love reading books to pass the time and waving to their grandparents through the window. Llewyn will emulate whatever Ellis does, while she enjoys playing homeschool where even her baby dolls get a squirt of hand sanitizer to stay safe from the “really bad germs!””
