Jackie (28), Ben (43), Laney (11), Jacob (7), Beckett (3 months) and their dog Baxter.

"Ben is a high school chemistry teacher at Kent Roosevelt. It’s been a rough year for the science department. They lost a teacher over the summer to a bicycle accident, then Ben was badly burnt in a fire during an experiment at school in September and now he is teaching online in quarantine.
My dad and I own a local food brokerage. We are learning the new ropes of virtual meetings and social distancing even with him is so hard. We are very close.

Laney and Jacob are homeschooling and that can have a lot of challenges.

Beckett, well he has no idea what is happening, except his family is always here and his mom didn’t have to go back to work except from home after maternity leave. We will have so many stories to tell him when he’s older.

The bright side in all of this is all the time we get together. The games, movie nights, playing outside and riding bikes are some of our favorite activities. We also have had a lot of FaceTime dates with our family in NYC and LA, who we miss so much!"
